Sales Associate (Art & Culture)

Starting immediately, Spike is looking for a Sales Associate to join their already expanding Sales & Client team.

Spike Art Magazine publishes 4 print magazines each year, alongside the digital magazine which is continually updated with editorial content.

You are motivated, organized, and hard working, good at managing your own time, prioritising, and working towards deadlines. 

You will report to the Sales Director, and be responsible for both contributing sales pitches to existing museum, gallery clients, auction houses and other cultural organizations, for both print and digital advertising, as well as bringing in new clients to increase the magazine client roster.

You will work alongside the Sales Director to achieve preset print & digital advertising revenue targets for each quarter/issue.

Other Sales responsiblities include securing Sponsorship deals and selling Artist Editions commissioned by the magazine.  

A knowledge of the contemporary art landscape and the public institutions and galleries that comprise it, is important. Previous sales experience within the art/culture field is preferred but not essential. 

Remote working possible. Payment is on commission basis.
