LAUNCH AND CELEBRATION OF THE 5TH ISSUE OF PFEIL MAGAZINE

Oscillating between book, object and collection, Pfeil Magazine invites artists to contribute a specific work to the theme of each issue. Taking the form of a keyword, each theme adds to an indexical collection of word-objects as objects of obsession. Through this process each word's meaning is expanded, eroded, overused, misused and ultimately enjoyed.

The fifth issue is dedicated to the word and the number "five":

With contributions by Tomoo Arakawa, Gina Fischli, Raphael Linsi, Niclas Riepshoff, Chloe Stead, Sung Tieu, Sue Tompkins and Katharina Trudzinski.

There will also be napkins designed by Katharina Trudzinski, readings by Chloe Stead, Tomoo Arakawa and Raphael Linsi, a record by Sue Tompkins and ice cream varieties named by Sung Tieu.
