Roundtable: What Happened to the Curator?

On Thursday, 27 November, Daniel Baumann, Övül Ö. Durmuşoğlu, Luca Lo Pinto & Pablo Larios convened at the Julia Stochek Foundation to discuss a vocation on the verge of a nervous breakdown, prompted by Baumann’s 2024 essay of the same name in Spike #80 – The State of the Arts.

What Happened to the Curator? was the second in a series of four yearly Spike roundtables on the critical conjunctures in contemporary art, proudly hosted by the Julia Stoschek Foundation.
