Artist Talk: Jared Madere

Art Is Old, the Internet Is New

To inaugurate a new series of artist talks at Soho House, Spike invited Jared Madere – an American artist living and working in Berlin who has previously created independent project spaces in New York (Bed-Stuy Love Affair) and Los Angeles (Mother Culture) — to talk about his latest endeavor, Galerie Yeche Lange, an artist-run NFT gallery. He discussed with Adina Glickstein the relevance of the gallery model in the world of NFTs and whether cryptoart can sustain an avant-garde.
